Pour reagent jars onto a balance and fill mole-quantity orders in this free online stoichiometry game about limiting reagents and percent yield.
Mole Mart is a stoichiometry game that turns the dreaded limiting-reagent worksheet into a kitchen rush. Every ticket asks for a number of moles of product, and the recipe card is a real balanced chemical equation. To fill an order you must convert between grams and moles using molar mass, pour each reagent in the ratio the equation demands and watch which jar empties first, because that jar is the limiting reagent and it alone decides the size of your batch.
Each mechanic maps to a real lab skill. The coefficients in the equation are the mole ratio: two moles of hydrogen per mole of oxygen for water, three of hydrogen per mole of nitrogen for ammonia. The balance reads grams while the recipe speaks moles, so you practice the grams to moles conversion on every pour. Unreacted stock left over is the excess reagent, and your score multiplier is percent yield, the ratio of what you actually produced to the theoretical maximum. Impure jars introduce percent purity: an eighty percent pure jar delivers fewer moles per gram, so you must pour extra mass to compensate.
Stoichiometry is the bookkeeping of chemistry. Industrial plants use these exact calculations to decide how much raw material to buy, pharmacists use them to dose medicines and engineers use them to size rocket fuel tanks. Between shifts, Mole Mart makes you do the same inventory planning: buy too much of a reagent you rarely need and the budget runs dry, buy too little and the rail fills with orders you cannot fill.
